Liz Lockyear
Liz is a passionate polymer clay artist with over three years of self-taught experience. Specializing in creating beautiful jewellery and delicate flower sculptures, she finds joy and relaxation in the art of crafting. What started as a stress-reliever quickly turned into an addiction to the craft, leading her to explore the endless possibilities of polymer clay. Liz loves experimenting with various techniques and mediums, constantly creating new colours and unique pieces that reflect her creativity and love for the art form.

I was taught crocheting by my grandmother many years ago. Not only is it relaxing but also challenging when trying new patterns and stitches. At the Hub I now have crocheted and tapestry bags.

I came to Manjimup 1989. I grew up in Port Hedland (hot, dry and red “a sunburnt country” comes to mind), a change to what I was used to. I make cards, mixed media art, and crystal sun catchers. My words & found items are also used.

I am a Sculptor and Artist Blacksmith born in Manjimup in the Southwest of Western Australia in 1976 and also where I am now based. I work with a variety of materials and techniques including metal, both forged and fabricated, from new and recycled material.

I started knitting before I started school and crocheting since my great grandmother taught me how when I was 7. Since moving to Manjimup 15 years ago I have taken up wood turning and create many small wooden items for gifts and sale at the arts hub.
